| ShareThis Adds More Buttons For PublishersGreetings once again from ShareThis! In this edition of our Publisher Newsletter, we have several major updates relating to our sharing products, as well as two new additions to the ShareThis publisher services team. There’s been a lot of talk about the new social network Pinterest, and its rapid growth in popularity over the last few months. ShareThis now officially supports Pinterest as part of our sharing platform, making it easy for you to add their buttons to your site.
Other new additions to the ShareThis family of buttons include Foursquare’s Save and Follow buttons, as well as Facebook Subscribe and YouTube Subscribe.

You can access these tools here.
ShareThis Adds More Buttons For Publishers
Not surprisingly, Twitter is a very popular choice for users to share. For a number of our publishers, Twitter can be the leading choice for social sharing.
To help you stay better connected to users that love Twitter, ShareThis now allows publishers to customize the “Thank You for Sharing” message that appears following a completed Twitter share, encouraging the user to follow the publisher’s official Twitter handle.

To make this customization on your site, simply append the following line in your code: <span class=’st_twitter_hcount’ st_username=’(your Twitter Handle Here)’></span>
That’s all for this edition. In the spirit of Mardis Gras, we’ll leave you with these words: Laissez les bon temps rouler!!! |
